RRA gives you a seat at the table

What is the Producers' Alliance Council?

RRA understands that Ontario’s producers need to have a seat at the table at a moment of such drastic transition. This is why RRA is establishing a Producers’ Alliance Council to directly involve producers of all sizes and scope in designing the new program. RRA will work collaboratively with the Producers’ Alliance Council, who will provide input on how to best meet recovery targets, oversee the mechanisms designed to keep Customer Data confidential, make recommendations to RRA to advance the effectiveness and efficiency of RRA’s services, and much more. And we do it with no upfront costs or capital investment from producers. Producers can engage with RRA, leverage the depth of experience and expertise of our history, and have a say through the Producers' Alliance Council.

RRA leverages GFL’s existing, scalable network and select partners to provide cost-efficient solutions to producers. GFL has the infrastructure to best capture the quantum of efficiencies and enhanced program performance, from standardization and regional networks, as recycling regimes move away from municipal boundaries and individualized recycling programs. Producers across Ontario will be pivotal in the direction and ultimately, in the success of RRA. Their experience and first-hand knowledge of Blue Box programs in Ontario is an asset that RRA will always embrace going forward.
